Our Difference

What is different about Triborough Trucking

Triborough Trucking is an owner-operated moving company serving all five boroughs and New Jersey. Paul is the owner, and this is how he runs it.

The owner

You call, Paul answers

The person who quotes your move is the person on the truck on move day. There is no receptionist to get past and no dispatcher, and no ticket to chase. Same person, first call to last box.

Pricing

The price you are quoted is the price you pay

Quoted once, from real information. The quote is built from photos, a video, or an in-person survey, not a phone-room guess, and any price driver, a walk-up, a piano, a long carry, is disclosed before you book, not on move day.

The two rules

Loyal to the customer, and not greedy

Paul runs the business on two rules, in his own words: be loyal to the customer, and do not be greedy. It is why almost all of the work comes from referrals.

The load

Your things on our own truck

For a long-distance move, your household goes on our own truck, and the crew that loads it is the crew that unloads it at the other end. No shared trailers: we do not combine your belongings with other customers' moves to fill out a trailer. Your things ride on our own truck, and yours is the only household on it.

Reassembly

We put back what we take apart

If we take a bed or a table apart to get it out the door, we put it back together at the other end. Taken apart at your old place, put back together at the new one, and you are not left working out where the bolts went.

Coverage

Ask what the coverage actually pays

The liability a moving company carries by default is worked out from the weight of an item, not what it is worth, which is how a shattered heirloom turns into a payout that would not replace the box it came in. Ask any mover what their coverage pays before you hand over your things. It is also why your building wants a certificate of insurance from the mover before a crew goes upstairs, and we furnish one.

Arrival

We show up when we said we would

A booked arrival window, a confirmation call the day before, and a 30-minute heads-up call when the crew is on the way, worked around your building's elevator and COI window.
